Fiona FitzGibbon heads up Cheil Media – Cheil UK’s media department. The division has ambitions to be a contender for challenger brands, with Fiona spearheading the charge.
Fiona is driven by a desire to break new ground for her clients with Samsung being a prime example. In the past two years she has delivered multiple media firsts for the brand including:
- Turning the UK’s largest OOH site, the IMAX, Samsung’s signature blue
- The full scale rebrand of Heathrow’s Terminal 5 to ‘Heathrow Terminal Samsung Galaxy S5’ for the launch of their Galaxy S5 Smartphone
- Breaking new ground with the use of moving image and sound in outdoor advertising to promote the Galaxy S4 Smartphone
Prior to Cheil, Fiona spent eight years with CBS Outdoor (now known as Exterion Media) delivering huge-scale campaigns including leading CBS’s London 2012 strategy, cementing CBS as a 3rd tier Olympic sponsor and securing them as sole outdoor media provider to London 2012 & Paralympics Games. During that time, she managed and delivered more than 20 OOH campaigns that created excitement and engagement for the Games.
Fiona’s time at CBS Outdoor also saw her take the helm at Impact, it’s creative solutions and sponsorship division, as well as its retail division, working closely with key clients such as Westfield Shopping Centre and TFL.
